Advanced Wheel Throw

About this experience

This one's for the regulars who can centre 700g of clay comfortably and wish to extend their knowledge in throwing different forms. 

Learn the tricks to throwing repeat forms and as well as more complex vessel design (think juicers, jars, lids & teapots) that you can then utilise in unguided studio time.

New Techniques covered in this course: 
- Throwing off the hump to make a teapot 
- Assembling complex forms using multiple wheel throw elements 
- Exploring flatware 
- Working with oxides and glaze theory 

Students will need to have their own batt mates for the duration of the course. Batt Mates can be purchased through the studio before the course begins. Please email hello@parttimeceramics.com.au to pre-order.
