About this experience

Celebrate love and creativity this Valentine’s Day with our special couples’ pottery class! This unique and playful session is designed for duos looking to bond through the art of pottery.


In this 2-hour class, you and your partner will:




  • Throw on the Wheel: Discover the basics of wheel throwing while creating your own clay forms together. Whether you’re beginners or seasoned potters, our instructors will guide you every step of the way.


  • Hug a Vase: Shape your instructor thrown masterpiece by “hugging” it together, using your hands to mold the vase into a symbol of your connection.


Inclusions:



  • Finishing and firing of one item each, made on the wheel during the class.

  • A special “hug vase” crafted by the instructor as a keepsake for you to take home.


All materials and tools are provided, and your finished pieces will be glazed in our white gloss glaze and fired for you to pick up later. You’ll leave with unique creations and memories to cherish!

What to bring:
- Old clothes you don’t love and shoes you don’t mind getting a little dirty
- A light beverage or two and any cups you may need to consume them. 


 


Class sizes are strictly limited (sorry, you must be over 18 years to attend)

DUE TO STORAGE LIMITATIONS WE CANNOT STORE WORK FOR LONGER THAN 4 MONTHS AFTER YOUR CLASS DATE. WORK THAT IS NOT COLLECTED WITHIN THIS TIME PERIOD WILL BE DONATED.


 


This class requires a minimum of 4 enrolled people (2 tickets) to meet the required booking minimum for the class to go ahead. In the advent that we do not meet these minimums participants will be notified no later than the morning of the class. Part Time Ceramics reserve the right to cancel bookings at any time.
